There’s a reason some people biologically age faster, while others seem to go through the time tunnel of life and come out nearly unscathed.

Groundbreaking discoveries in the new science of anti-aging have busted the myth that age-related disease is predetermined by genes.

Despite the fact that everyone inherits “sensitivity” to various health issues, about 97% of those health issues can be changed through what scientists call, “Lifestyle modifications.

Why society seems to look at growing older as problem is disappointing to say the least. I’m not sure how these generalizations, stereotypes and outright rumors start, but I’d like to put an end to all that hoopla.

Living longer, with a higher quality of life is a choice you can make for yourself.

I’m about to reach the half century mark myself and I’m sad to report that I know of a lot of people who haven’t made it this far. Whatever age you are, you should feel grateful you are alive.

The saying, “you are as old as you feel,” means it’s your attitude that really determines your “quality of life.” The better your quality of life (your health), the slower you will biologically age.

It’s no accident that the better your attitude, the better your health and vitality.

Fact is people who have a great attitude for life simply take better care of themselves. When you’re grateful you don’t take anything for granted.

There’s plenty of science to back that up, too. I just don’t have room for that in today’s article. Today, I want to share more about this new science called epigenetics.

Epigenetics has to be the most exciting discovery of the century because it proves you can turn on good genes and turn off bad genes with simple “lifestyle modifications!

To put it in a nut-shell, the ancient philosopher Hippocrates summed it up when he said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” This rings as true today as it did more than 2,000 years ago.

The cause of most illness is from under-nutrition, stress and environmental toxins, all of which are curable.

The good news is YOU can actually rewrite a major part of your genetic code!

As you know, besides clean air, water and healthy amounts of sunlight, we all require minerals, nutrients and their co-factors. Mineral cofactors or “ions” are needed to ensure nutrients even enter your cells, but many people miss out on the importance of these and other vital “cofactors.

So, what are these all important cofactors?

These unsung heroes come in many forms and without them life as you know it couldn’t exist. Cofactors, like enzymes and coenzymes are “helper molecules.”  These helper molecules work with vitamins and enzymes to help produce cellular energy and thus life.

The most common cause of all illness is from the loss of cellular energy. Once energy is lost, toxins build-up, stress factors increase and then inflammation, stiffness and degeneration begin.

One of the most important cofactors for youthful vitality is called coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)

CoQ10 is needed to activate enzymes related to energy production through each of your 60,000,000,000 cells.

The new science of anti-aging focuses solely on this bioenergetic miracle.

Bottom line is by owning a positive attitude, staying at least mildly active and eating more raw foods rich in cofactors like CoQ10 you can nurture vibrant cell health.

The higher your cellular energy levels the healthier your tissue, organs and over all life process.

You were born to heal,

P.S. The most common cause of all illness is from the loss of cellular energy. Focusing on a positive attitude, keeping active and eating raw foods rich in CoQ10 can help slow the loss of cellular energy and improve the aging process.
