As part of our 10-year anniversary celebration, today I would like to share some of my favorite home remedies with you, so you can improve your health dramatically with a few minor tweaks to your daily routine.

Magnesium

Magnesium BottleOne of my favorite home remedies I use nearly every day is magnesium.

There was a time when I suffered from restless legs, tossing and turning at night, unable to fall asleep. That’s when my good friend Dr. D told me I was deficient in magnesium. So I started spraying some of this on my legs before bed, and it worked wonders!

I prefer the most absorbable form of magnesium a spray-on, non-filmy oil called Magnesium Infusion.

I’ve found that if I eat too much sugar during the day, my magnesium levels would be depleted – so while it’s best to avoid sugar altogether, if you must, then use Magnesium Infusion (this is the exact brand I use).

It also works great for people suffering with anxiety, lethargy, memory gaps, muscle weakness, muscle cramps, depression, irritability, chronic pain, facial tics, fibromyalgia, and chronic headaches.

It’s an essential element vital to human biology.

Top food sources of magnesium include dark leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, brown rice, bananas, oats, bran, barley, halibut, lentils, and kidney beans.

Butterbur Extract & Rosmarinic Acid

Another favorite home remedy of mine is butterbur extract & rosmarinic acid, which helps relieve 95% of my allergies to dust, mold, pollen, cats & dogs.

In the past, I had to take a daily dose of generic Claritin (loratadine) to find allergy relief… but I want to avoid all forms of pharmaceutical drugs as much as possible.

I had pretty severe allergies to cats and dogs. I couldn’t be in my friend’s house for more than 10 minutes before my eyes & nose would start watering profusely and I’d have to excuse myself.

Finally in 2011 I discovered a natural remedy that really worked. You can find it over at Life Extension.

I hope the above natural remedies will be helpful for you and your loved ones.

P.S. One of the best remedies for overall health and wellness is drinking water instead of pretty much anything else. If you’re overweight, you will probably lose 10 pounds in less than a month if you simply cut out all sweetened beverages, including diet soft drinks, fruit juices, dairy milk, etc. Water is 100% healthy, vital, and amazing! Drink it!
