Avoid Synthetic Vitamins And Take Natural Vitamins
By Underground Health Reporter
Stop taking your vitamins. If you don’t know why, then read our last post on Are Vitamins and Minerals Necessary or Are They Just Money Down the Toilet?
Some vitamin supplements contain synthetic ingredients that can cause severe health problems, including cancer.
If you take a brand name multivitamin such as Centrum, One-a-Day or Equate, then it’s time to stop taking your synthetic pill. Thankfully, there are some healthy vitamin and mineral alternatives that offer dramatic, proven health benefits: organic, all-natural vitamin supplements.
Multivitamins that are not organic usually contain pesticides, preservatives, genetically engineered ingredients, chemical additives and by-products.
If that doesn’t scare you away from synthetic vitamins, then how about the:
- Animal drug residue…
- Pathogens…
- Feces…
- Hormone-disrupting chemicals…
- Toxic sludge…
- Slaughterhouse waste…
All hanging out in your supposedly “healthy” vitamin?
Avoid These Synthetic Additives
The commercial multivitamins and supplements that you find on the shelves of your local grocery and drug stores contain these sneaky – and harmful – ingredients. Learn to read the labels to avoid these synthetic imposters.
The side-effects of taking synthetic vitamin supplements it that your body just can’t absorb the toxic poisons. As a result, you can develop chronic health conditions, including osteoporosis, arthritis, cancer and Alzheimer’s.
What are the toxic ingredients that are actually damaging your health instead of strengthening your immune system and protecting you from illness? Take a look at this list of synthetic additives:
That’s not all! Many vitamins, particularly chewable tablets, contain sweeteners such as aspartame, known to cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome and fibromyalgia. Other harmful additives found in commercial multivitamins that have been shown to mutate cells and DNA (which increases your cancer risk!) include:
- Acesulfame potassium
- Sucralose
- Sorbitol
Plus, if your multivitamin comes in a gelatin capsule, this dangerous casement is typically composed of the cartilage, skin, connective tissue and bones of sick animals. Yuck!!!
Avoid These Synthetic Vitamins
Synthetic Vitamin B12:
Vitamin B12 supports your heart, red blood cells, digestive and nervous systems. This essential is essential for metabolic functions throughout the body. However, synthetic vitamin B12 does more harm than good.
Scientifically known as cyanocobalamin, synthetic B12 is manufactured from pulverized cow liver and activated sewage sludge.
- Cow livers contain steroids, antibiotics and pesticides from genetically modified feed.
- Cows spend their entire lives in CAFO’s (confined animal feeding operations) where they slowly die, often lying in their own fecal matter.
Synthetic Vitamin A:
The surprising results of a 2002 Harvard study showed that nurses (72,000 of them) supplementing with synthetic Vitamin A have a 48% greater chance of suffering from a hip fracture. Other studies found subjects had a 8% higher risk of a heart attack, stroke or lung cancer by taking synthetic Vitamin A.
Synthetic vitamin A is made up of contaminated fish liver juices, brimming with poisonous polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)—man-made chemicals best to avoid—and mercury.
Synthetic Vitamin E:
Even national cancer organizations are warning against the use of synthetic vitamins. The Journal of the National Cancer Institute issued a statement about synthetic vitamins: “Taking too many may increase men’s risk of dying from prostate cancer.” This warning comes in light of a study of 300,000 men who took synthetic multivitamins and doubled the risk of developing fatal prostate cancer.
Synthetic vitamin E, which is often extracted from genetically modified foods (GMOs), stands out as a primary agent in prostate cancer development. Unfortunately, the United States does not require pharmaceutical companies to label supplements that have been tainted by GMOs.
Synthetic Vitamin C:
Natural absorbic acid is extremely healthy. But synthetic
vitamin C trying to mimic the natural only leads to harming your digestive tract.
Reuters Health published a study that indicates that 500 mg of synthetic vitamin C taken daily over an 18-month period causes atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. The great news is organic, whole-food vitamin C, on the other hand, prevents cardiovascular disease and keeps its precursors at bay.
Avoid All Synthetic Vitamins
You may be wondering: If synthetic vitamins are so bad for you, then why are pharmaceutical companies making them?
Chemical companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers – the same ones that develop chemotherapy technology – gain large sums of profits from producing synthetic vitamin products. New Jersey-based drug manufacturing giant, Hoffman LaRoche owns more than 90% of the fake vitamin C supplement market.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “synthetic” as artificially produced. Why in the world would you want to supplement with artificial, when natural enhances your health?
In order to avoid being “faked-out” by unhealthy synthetic vitamin supplements, read labels carefully and purchase organic, raw-food based supplements, such as Raw One for Women or Men, a natural multivitamin made without synthetic binders or fillers.
It is safest to purchase vitamins from natural health food stores such as Whole Foods, or reputable online dealers that don’t hide synthetic additives behind the guise of “other ingredients.”
Say goodbye to synthetic vitamins and hello to all natural, once and for all.
