Exercise to Flatten Your Stomach While Driving
You may already know this unique trick to flatten your stomach. If you are familiar with Truth About Abs, then you know it is a simple exercise to flatten your stomach that you can do anywhere, anytime.
Let me point out that this stomach flattening exercise does not increase fat burning. But, it does serve to strengthen your abdominal muscles deep within so that it “pulls in” the extra fat in a beer belly, muffin top or pooch belly.
Performing the exercise involves something called “ab vacuums.”
You can include this exercise on your daily commute, or any time that can become a habit: driving home from the gym every day, on your commute to work, in daily business meetings, standing, seated, kneeling or even lying flat on the floor. Ab vacuums can become a part of your regular life. In doing so, you’ll see a flatter stomach as a result!
(But, please be careful not to be distracted from driving. In my opinion, ab vacuum exercises are much more safe than texting or talking on a cell phone!)
Ab vacuums are simple:
- Start by inhaling deeply.
- As you exhale, pull your belly button in as far as you can.
- Imagine touching your belly button to your spine.
- Take short breaths.
- Hold for 10-20 seconds.
- Repeat several times.
Get in the habit of doing this exercise at least 4-5 days per week while driving or any other time you can get away with it! This will help you flatten your stomach by strengthening the deep abdominal muscles -helping to flatten a round stomach that has lazy deep ab muscles.
Let me remind you, this ab vacuum exercise does not increase fat burning… it only helps to flatten a round stomach that has lazy deep abdominal muscles.
