Healthy Chocolate Pudding Recipe to Burn Fat
I’ve outdone myself! I created a chocolate pudding recipe that is high in fiber, high in protein, full of healthy fat and low in sugar! You can actually burn fat with this absolutely delicious (and healthy to boot!) chocolate pudding recipe!
As much as I love baking and doing wonderful things in the kitchen, I am always on the look out for ways to transform unhealthy foods to a healthy recipe, especially those that can help burn fat. Here is a wonderful chia pudding recipe and some popular summer cooking options.
But I’ve come across this recipe that is amazingly delicious and superbly healthy: chocolate pudding that actually burns fat! It is actually:
- High in fiber
- High in healthy fats
- High in protein
- Low in sugar
- With ZERO artificial sweeteners
- And NO added sugars!
It’s like I discovered the perfect food – with chocolate!!! I wish I came up with it myself, but discovered this fat burning recipe from Men’s Fitness Magazine. I can claim, however, that I changed the recipe around to fit an ever better healthy solution that scored lower on the glycemic index and lowered the sugar content. I also added more protein …I know, a wonderful idea!
Some of the ingredients may sound weird for a “pudding,” but trust me – everybody that has tried this chocolate pudding recipe has loved it!
Here’s the fat burning version of Healthy Chocolate Pudding:
- 1/2 of a ripe avocado
- Approximately 3 tablespoons of almond butter (preferably raw)
- Approximately 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk (preferably organic)
- 2 heaping tablespoons of organic cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 packet of stevia (or sweeten to taste)
- 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop of chocolate protein powder
- Small pinch of sea salt
Mash avocado and almond butter in a bowl with a fork until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix vigorously until a smooth texture has been achieved. If you have a food processor, you can combine ingredients and pulse until smooth. It is just as easy to mash everything together by hand.
The overall consistency should be similar to pudding. If it ends up too thick, then simply add small amounts of almond or coconut milk until the consistency is smooth like pudding. The fabulous difference is that this health chocolate pudding recipe doesn’t make you FAT with loads of sugar!!!! It actually helps you burn fat, control cravings and satisfy your body’s need for micro-nutrients, protein, healthy fats, and fiber.
If you really want to take it up a notch, then add pecans, chia seeds, flax seeds, rice bran or walnuts for more nutrient rich power. This chocolate pudding tastes great with sliced strawberries on top, too!
Feel free to share this delicious healthy pudding recipe with your friends and family. They will fooled by the rich creamy taste, but not the fat!
Makes about 2-4 servings and is a super alternative as a healthy dessert or snack.
