Top 4 Foods to Avoid That Speed up Aging
Beware! You are eating corroding foods that make you age fast!
Some of these aging foods are falsely marketed as “healthy” by big food corporations. To look and feel 5-10 years younger, avoid these harmful foods – and hide your real age under a more youthful appearance!
With every food that passes through your mouth, your body produces a chemical reaction. Some of the food you eat makes you age faster, while others help you FIGHT aging.
The more you eat these harmful and aging foods, you speed up the aging process and end up looking more than 10 years your actual age. But, you can start to mystify your friends by looking 10 years YOUNGER, just by eating the right foods to reverse aging.
The foods that cause aging to speed up in your body produce one of three chemical reactions in the body:
- Glycation
- Inflammation
- Oxidation
Now when you think about aging, the first dreaded signs are wrinkles and hair thickness. But, what is really behind how young your skin looks or how tight your muscles are is how well your organs function, and whether or not your joints are degrading.
It certainly feels great to LOOK good, but I am sure you would agree with me about the importance of health just beneath the surface. So, I am here to tell you that you can improve both – the inside AND the outside!
Now, let’s cut to the chase! Here are the foods that you want to avoid so you can disrupt the rate of aging and stay young and youthful.
#1 Aging Food to Avoid: Wheat
Wheat AGEs You Faster Than Any Other Food
Before I tell you why wheat can actually speed up the aging process in your body, let’s clarify some simple biochemistry in your body…
This deals with “glycation” in your body and substances called Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs).
These nasty little compounds called AGEs speed up the aging process in your body, damage your organs and joints and, of course, wrinkle the skin.
Would you be surprised to find out that high blood sugar levels is one of the biggest factors that speeds up AGEs production in your body? High blood sugar levels dramatically accelerate aging, which is why type 2 diabetics often appear like they have not aged well. But, high blood sugar levels can make almost anyone look older than their real age.
This increase in the appearance of your age is actually related to “whole wheat.” Here is how…
Wheat contains a very unique type of carbohydrate called amylopectin-A. This carbohydrate is not found in any other food source, but is known to be more harmful than pure table sugar. It will raise your blood sugar more than any other carbohydrates on earth. This little known fact has been covered up by massive marketing campaigns run by large food companies that want you to believe “whole wheat” is healthy for you. But, in blood sugar response testing, the amylopectin-A found in wheat is one of the most dangerous carbohydrates available.
Unfortunately, the whole grain breads, cereals, bagels, muffins and other baked goods loaded with amylopectin-A are spiking your blood sugar and making you age FASTER.
Don’t forget that wheat also contains gluten, which gets a lot of press because of its potential health damaging side-effects. This is just another well documented reason why you should cut out wheat products from your diet. The more you can reduce or eliminate wheat, the more your body will age slower and look YOUNGER.
I put this fact to the test with my very own father. He cut out 95% of wheat from his diet for the last 3 months – except one cheat day. He is in his mid-60s and not without the normal aging aches and pains. My father noticed by “gutting” wheat from his diet that his chronic joint pain completely disappeared! Not only that, he also commented that he’s finally lost those “love handles” on his sides that have been plaguing him his entire adult life! I know so many people who could get rid of joint pain, drop extra weight and look younger simply by reducing wheat in their diet. Are you going to be one of them??
One more thing to add about wheat and aging…
To add insult to injury, baked wheat products contain acrylamides, which are carcinogenic compounds of browned food products (bread that is toasted, muffins that are baked golden brown, etc.) These carcinogenic acrylamides have been linked in studies to possible increased risk of cancer and accelerated aging. The danger of acrylamides aren’t limited to baked wheat products, they are also present in high amounts in other browned carbohydrate sources such as french fries or any other browned starchy foods.

#2 Aging Food to Avoid: Corn-based Foods
In modern day society, corn is heavily present in many foods and food products you might eat every day. Corn syrup, corn cereal, corn oil and corn chips are the most recognized forms of corn in your food, but high fructose corn syrup is especially dangerous.
You are now already familiar with how AGEs are dangerously influential in raising blood sugar levels, thereby accelerating aging in the body. Corn-based food products also send you to an early grave by altering blood sugar levels and increasing AGEs in the body to accelerate aging. Now, here is yet another reason to add another nail to the coffin for corn.
It turns out that scientists have found out that the fructose in HFCS causes 10x more formation of AGEs in your body than glucose!
So, by drinking sweetened drinks and adding such “innocent” foods like salad dressings and ketchup to your meal, you start you down the highway of aging at an accelerated speed. My advice? Exit the HFCS highway all together!
If fast-acting aging wasn’t scary, here is another reason to minimize or avoid corn products in your food.
Corn base foods add unhealthy amounts of omega-6 fatty acids to your diet. By disrupting the omega-3 and omega-6 ratio of fatty acids, your body is subject to inflammation and more oxidative stress leading to more wrinkles, loss of muscle tone and chronic pain.
Corn products aren’t as bad as viagra online pharmacy wheat in relation to blood sugar and they don’t contain gut-damaging gluten like wheat does, but they are still bad for you. When it comes to corn syrup or corn oil, avoid as much as you can if you want to stay lean and young looking.
#3 Aging Food to Avoid: Sugar
Remember the relationship between your average blood sugar levels and how it can increase those age-accelerating compounds called AGEs in your body? Sugar is an obvious food to avoid if you want to stay young and youthful.
Sugar has long been touted as an enemy to your body because it widens the waistline and develops diabetes. Now, there are more reasons to avoid the aging food sugar.
I recommend replacing sugar with a natural non-caloric sweetener like Stevia. It can be used in your coffee or tea and is even tasty in baked goods. If you are tempted by sugar desserts, candy or sugar “meals” like pancakes and smoothies, then consider how sugar makes you age faster and it just might be easier to avoid the sugar temptation!
Personally, I eat dark chocolate for dessert – which completely satisfies my sweet tooth. In 1-2 squares of dark chocolate you only get about 2 grams of sugar, as opposed to 40-80 grams of age-accelerating sugar in a typical cake, ice cream, or brownie type of dessert.
Sugar is not only hidden in sweet foods, some savory foods heavy in starch like oatmeal, some potatoes and white rice, can alter your blood sugar levels and increase AGEs in your body —aging you with each bite. To moderate the aging effects of these food products, balance starchy foods with healthy fats and protein to level your blood sugar.
#4 Aging Food to Avoid: Soybean, canola and other vegetable oils
The validity of soybean oil, canola oil and “vegetable oil” for good health is another lie sold to you by large food companies. This biochemistry lesson will quickly dispel the lie about these highly processed oils.
These oils (soybean, canola, corn, vegetable and cottonseed oil commonly found in processed foods) have been refined involving very high heat and the chemical solvent, hexane.
This leaves you with an oil where the polyunsaturated fats have undergone a lot of oxidation and are therefore:
- VERY inflammatory inside your body
- Producing free radicals
- Damaging your cell membranes
- Contributing to faster aging, heart disease and other possible health problems.
I wouldn’t touch these oils with a 10 foot pole! Using soybean oil, canola cialis online oil and other vegetable oils speeds up the aging process! Instead, choose truly healthy oils such as:
- Virgin coconut oil
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Avocado oil
- Grass-fed butter
