Does milk really do the body good?

This was the question asked on a recent broadcast of CBS This Morning.

The answer was a resounding NO. The story – aired on the heels of a study that tracked over 100,000 people for twenty years – revealed drinking 3 or more glasses of milk a day…

INCREASES risk of bone fracture, and…

…doubles the chance of early death!

But the experts got it wrong. Milk shouldn’t get a bad rap. Blame calcium.

For 13 years, researchers from The Nurses’ Health Study (run in large part by Harvard and the largest investigation of its kind in history) followed 122,000 women.

Those who had the MOST bone fractures consumed MORE calcium from dairy products.

Following 24,000 Germans for 11 years, scientists found an alarming 86 (eight six!) percent jump in heart disease in those who supplemented with calcium following common recommendations.

The list goes on…
